This was touched on earlier. For the benefit of those who didn't know... LSU is the "only" college football teams that wears white jerseys for home games. The tradition started in 1958, Coach Dietzel decided that LSU would wear white jerseys for the home games. LSU went on to win the national championship that year. I wish that the yellow jerseys would get in the rotation more. The white jerseys are our classic uniform, but when we have to wear a colored jersey it would be nice if the yellow jersey could split time with the purple one on a 50/50 basis. It really looks sharp but rarely gets worn.
