why hanesworth (however you spell it...i don't care)? huge salary, big baby, quitter, malcontent, negative character traits. saints are doing well getting quality guys, why disrupt what seems to be working.
Couldn't agree more. Hope if they have something in the works it's for Macintosh (Wash) and not for Haynesworth or Merriman. Neither fit this team.
I don't know if Merriman would be a good fit here. I would like to see it happen since he is an edge rusher and we can just use him in that regard. He probably would struggle in the 4-3 playing the run, since he has never played in a 4-3 before. There have heard no rumblings of the Saints being interested that I have heard of. All the teams being mentioned with interest have 3-4 defenses from what I understand.
Yeah. I did some digging and Chris Mortensen kinda mentioned the Saints as a possible landing spot on Twitter. But it was kinda mentioned in passing. I think when he tweeted that, the rumors started. It is an interesting thought though. Lights out!
