    Since when do people substantiate rumors around here. But for you - anything.

    Rumor Central

    Can be found other places all over the interwebs but I just linked the first one. Just like every other rumor (he wife is house shopping, his kid enrolled in local high school, yada, yada, yada) I posted it because Del Rio to Saints makes sense so this rumor may actually pan out.

    Del Rio was my first thought when the GW issue came up. Many seem to think Spagnola is a better fit, and maybe he would be, but I recall JDR being a pretty good DC before moving up to head coach.

    Actually Del Rio already has a house in NOLA, at least according to a story on Fox 8 tonight, and has since his playing days.

    Of those out there looking for a job, Mike Nolan by far has the best pedigree and record of success. If the Saints don't grab him, the Falcons will. Payton better go chase him down with the gentle reminder that he'd rather face Matty Ice twice a year than Brees.

    But doesn't Nolan prefer the 3-4? We don't know what 3 good linebackers look like, much less 4.
