but was it just loyalty to the titanic or added personal shiit with jl. if it was part of a grudge to make a statement at the expense of the program, thats a much bigger issue than sheer stupidity.
With a million and a half bucks only 15 points away, even if he is mad at Lee he still has Mett he could have taken a chance with. Not sure if I would believe a story like that.

Really? I never said it was true, nor that I believed it, but hey, it's sparked some good debate. Yes, there are plenty of holes in the story and it's pretty far-fetched, but I have been wondering why Hebert and Shepard didn't play. I do believe that Lee probably took a downward spiral after the Bama game, but why did he get benched for ONE poor performance when he's been stellar the rest of the season? It's not like JJ carried the team on his back through the SECCG. It's just very mysterious how he was just all of the sudden dropped cold turkey for two interceptions in one half of play.
shepard played. about as much as he normally does and had the same impact as usual. just fewer drops. not sure why tbob didnt. i guess because our o-line was so dominant. Alex Hurst would not be denied.

If anybody doesn't know, Gordy is the LSU sideline reporter and is very close to the program: This is for the Tiger Fans: I was with the team from 3pm on Monday and was the last person out of the locker room after the game. The rumors and e-mails I have been getting are ridiculous. None of them are true - there was no fight before or at halftime, no players and Coach Miles in an argument. it's amazing the drama that is out there. I was there the whole time! Please move on from the drama - it's making everyone look bad - the program, the fan base, the players ...no one wins with all of this crap out there. Yes, I receive a check for doing sidelines for LSU. It represents less than 4% of my income this year. I wouldn't break classified information or probably tell you that there was a fight, IF THERE WAS A FIGHT!, because of my repsonsibilites with LSU on Gameday but I don't mind shooting something down THAT DIDN'T HAPPENED! Please feel free to copy and paste this and stop the madness. LSU lost, the sun came up (two days later), and let's get ready for 2012!
