My baby sister's boyfriend's cousin's, baby mama's uncle's little sister tracy used to bang the whole offensive line, and she says the players don't like Miles because they fear he is an alien from the planet of cybertron, sent here to destroy LSU football slowly.
This **** needs to end. This morning the local sports radio station in Atlanta (680 the Fan) read this entire rumor & while they said "it's a rumor" they then went on to say that it totally made sense & it would not surprise them if all or most of it was very true. This is affecting recruiting, our program, and most of all, our image. It needs to be squashed at the top levels & that means CLM & the Players Unity Committee. It's gone from internet fun to seriously detrimental to the program.
I did speak to the mother of a player who is a senior and will graduate in May. She said her son is just a confused as the fan base as to why Lee did not play. There was no mention of a fight or confrontation between coaches and players. If something did happen before the game either the team is tight lipped about it or it happened in private with few witnesses. Now, I am off to examine the grassy knoll for spent casings!
If I were Kiel, I would also naturally have second thoughts and doubts about coming to LSU, esp. with the horrific scoreless offense of LSU in the NC game, and the mysterious refusal of Miles to even try putting in a passing QB when the offense/JJ was struggling. The zero score reflected very badly on the offense coaching staff in terms of gameplanning and preparation, which I agree needs to be, and will be fixed. (I had also wondered about the pattern and character of the offense, in particular in the last 2 regular season games, with JJ at the helm. Very reminiscent of his 2010 season. Offense very different in character from the first 8 games of the season. I am not counting cupcakes Western Kentucky and Ole Piss....)
Well ... you know the answer to your post .. yes?? Miles needs to cut out the "coach speak", and start talking normal. He needs to come out, with the OC's, and declare it did not happen. That would be a start. But to really put the nail in the coffin, he needs to truth out about much of what he's him-hawed around about. Like the QB situation. Why was JLee benched after the Bama game. The "best chance to win" line is, well, let's say "less than truthful", and everyone knows it. When you come across as less than truthful, then everything that you say is taken as a coverup. Even JLee's comments on it are clearly a cover for the program. ... I mean, is anyone going to convince me that Lee doesn't know why he got benched?? ... NOT!!! If LSU is suffering from a rumor, then it can only be because the program has not been transparent, thus leading to doubts regarding it's proclamations.
You mean the mysterious refusal of Miles to do what you and other fans want him to do? I realize that fans are the real experts and the coaches should simply do anything the fans want him to do.
Yup. And I presume most teams would have switched QB's , or at least temporarily, in such a huge game when so much is at stake, for a change of pace when nothing seems to work. It is just logic. I admit I am no coach nor expert. But by not even trying to put Lee in, it seems to say that what they planned for Lee was not even going to cut it. The way they kept on playing JJ, they seem to keep on using plays that were unsuccessful before; seems to give the impression of a simplified or limited gameplan/number of plays.
