If Chiasson would have deliberately (on review) lowered the crown of his helmet to punish that runner then he’s out of there
Leading with helmet is #3 on list. Helmet to helmet is by definition leading with helmet. The ultimate intent of this rule is to protect players by effecting change at the level of coaching players to not head hunt, but rather to return to old school football techniques leading with shoulder, not head. Whether the head to head is intentional is not be the baseline issue; it may add to the qualifier, but not be requisite. Kind of like if you accidentally or intentionally run a red light, your ticketed either way, because the goal is safety, not punishment.
