Any team with unrated wrs and a decent imagination can have an effective passing game. This is proven many times each weekend. Try not to fall into the trap of believing we have no talent just bc no star has emerged and aren't as good as last year. We have not adapted to our personnel. A quick passing game with mett building confidence is a start. Misdirection and a tight end or two. Offbalance. That's all you have to do but there's millions of ways to skin this cat. Just make a defense have to guess a little bit. Like a fastball up and in. That uncertainty goes a long way. Then les can run til his little hearts content if we have a lead. at 1.2 yards per pop . and mett can go sit in his plastic bubble of ganja for all I care.
I've read quite a few of his tweets on the other site, and he's not showing his passion for LSU; he voicing his beef with the coaches. In that sense, it makes me uncomfortable as a fan that he's essentially bad-mouthing the program.
First off, I enjoy your post because youre respectful. You often defend Miles but youre also realistic and criticize when due. I have mixed feelings about Randles comments. In a way I feel like you, that he shouldnt be criticizing from the outside looking in. On other hand I feel like its due. I dont think this WR group is nearly as good as what we have been accustomed to. I do feel though that they are better than theyre showing. I just think the whole team lacks discipline and focus. I do agree that Randle would have been a huge asset this year. He would have been the go to guy. He would have been a good leader for the young group. I dont blame him though, I think the BCSCG had a big affect on Randle and is still lingering with the O. The D seems to have gotten over it. I just feel its a lack of focus because Mett and the passing game was much better than it is now. Also Beckham had much better hands last year, which tells me its a lack of focus.
I love free speech. He's simply voicing what the les miles apologists try to make excuses for I suppose and it validates his critics. But I'm like Stacey. This is your family son. Keep this shit in house. Going public is not the best way to go about this. Unless he hates les which of course he may then he's doing it perfectly.
Spot on ...and in my opinion has alot to do with why he decided to go pro after his junior year instead of comeback, he went through the same frustrations last year as an elite reciever that just didn't get many chances to show the world that he was elite.
his attitude and work ethic is showing up as a professional, so its 2 sides to a coin. He probably does hate Les, but he has his share of problems.
I haven't read any of his other tweets but I'm sure he is frustrated with the coaches/play calls and he probably was last year and it's finally coming out. He probably shouldn't be saying so much but he has a right, I don't hold it against him.
What if he is right??? All you have to do is watch the last three games to see what is coming without SERIOUS changes being made in mulitple areas, other coaches do it all the time. At LSU the standard answer is "we just have to play harder next time".
Just go back to tirk's post. He may be 150% correct; however, he was a Tiger, and it's a shame that he's going all over Twitter bad-mouthing LSU's coaches. I just don't like that aspect of it. It lacks class.
Yep collinsworth called that dude out in a national broadcast so it must be bad. No work ethic. He finally had a good game yesterday so maybe he decided to put forth a little effort. I think he had one catch prior. Also beating Cleveland's secondary is like beating the saints. Shouldn't really count.
