I disagree that we have WR talent.

I'll bite. What should we do and with whom?

I'm not being facetious. I'd really like to know.

There is definately talent across the field, personally I just do not think the coaches do a very good job in putting this talent in a position to succeed. They are definately NOT helping themselves with all the dropped passes, but even the most talented wr in the country is going to drop passes. every playmake should have a chance to touch the ball at least 5 times, thats not happening here.

The whole team suffers from playmakers not being able to make plays because the stubborness of the offensive coordinator (whoever that may be). If a guy isnt working at receiver, then it's up to the coaches to sit him, or find another place for him. Then bring in someone who is better suited.
Trying different things, and utilizing what is available to you, has not been something that this offensive coaching staff is known for.

Jarvis Landry has the best hands and runs the best route, we mostly use him for blocking. He is not the featured receiver. Landry is physical off the line, the slant was there all game. We hit the tight ends twice across the middle, Florida couldnt stop it, we stop throwing that pass after it worked 4 times. James Wright is 6'2 almost 6'3. He has a size advantage and has pretty good hands. Never threw his way. Our passing plays take too long to develop or Mett isnt recognizing open receivers. On numerous plays, the announcer commented that Landry was open and Boone was open etc.

Odell beckham should be the guy to stretch the field he should get at least 4 chance to make a play on a deep ball every game, russel sheppard(stonehands) should get at least 4 bubble screens, and a couple of designed screens out of the backfield every game. Jarvis landry possesion reciever you can run across the middle of the field, tough guy good runner after the catch....5 to 15 yard routes. Tight ends need to be invloved more, les's offense has never really involved the tight ends, best pro offense involve great tight ends. Kadron Boone and James wright about 3 touches per game short to intermediate routes.

No, I will start with Russell Shepard because if used properly he is one hell of an asset!

Jarvis Landry and OB Jr, are pretty solid recievers, who I'm sure a lot of other schools would like to have.

But lets not limit this conversation to WRs only, because there are other players with the ability to catch passes:

TEs: Chase Clement, Travis Dickson, Nick Jacobs
RBs: Spencer Ware, Kenny Hilliard, and Jeremy Hill have all demonstrated the ability to catch passes.

While on the subject of RBs, since my statement was about the ENTIRE offense not just WRs, our group of RBs are better than ANY other teams' in the country. Throw JC Copeland (Neighbors is no slouch either) on top of that and you should be able to run on anyone, AT WILL.

And to finish up, I'll make a blanket statment: We have had top 5- top 15 recruiting classes for the last several years! This should translate to superior performance on the field, WHEN COACHED PROPERLY!

Are we suppose to believe that the best way RS can be used is at WR? Are we suppose to believe that there is no one else riding the bench that can be used at WR that may have a positive impact? Is this running back corp really being utilized correctly? Is there anyone at another position that can be converted to help out with O-line performance and depth?

You do whatever you can with what you have to get the job done. From top to bottom, that is what successful programs are about.

The worst fucking play of the game and it is still pissing me off. 2nd and goal and we roll Mett out with one damn receiver who is going the opposite direction after Neighbors gets put on his ass.
