If there was it will get out. It always comes out. There was racial dissent on the team under Mike Archer. They tried to suppress it, but it got out and Archer got fired. If none of Les' enemies have leaked this story yet, we have to consider it a unfounded rumor, of which there have been plenty.

Wow, I had no idea there was racial dissention under Archer. I mostly remember him for coaching my all time favorite Tiger, Wendell Davis.

What youre saying makes sense that something would eventually be leaked. People will always try to find an explaination why things the way they are when its not going the way things were expected. Im part of that in my speculations. I hope Miles and staff find some magic elixir to fix the problems. Hopefully a player or two steps up as leaders as well. Either way, Ill always love and cheer my Tigers.

The same way that hard feelings always take time to fade. And it doesn't take much to aggravate those hard feelings. If So n so was on one side, and is dropping passes, and someone of the other side says something about it, it brings all those unresolved feelings back.

But like Kal said .. it is all hearsay. We'll never know ... doesn't matter if something did happen, or maybe it didn't, we'll still never know.

I just hope the guys pull their crap together and start playing "sound" football. It would not hurt my feelings at all if SC comes in and woops our butts ... provided we play good sound football. No more fumbles, dropped passes that hit a receiver in the hands, sacks as if Mett is playing with blinders on, missed assignments, etc.

There is nothing wrong with losing ... but there is everything wrong with beating yourself.

Name the top SEC freshman O'line.

There is a reason majority of O'lineman that start aren't freshman.

Yes .. but the reason is not the one you are insinuating. There are plenty of true Freshman who do get starts on the O-line in the NCAA. Is it the majority?? .. of course not. By default, they only make up 1/5 of the talent .. so imediately, there is only a 20% chance they get the nod. It becomes lower, as you go forward, because the Freshman has to prove they are superior to the existing core. They usually don't get that chance unless something happens ... like injuries.

It's true of all position. You will rarely find a true Freshman starting at ANY position. A search on the subject turned up several Freshman O line starters. I could go and run up the Statistics ... but I'm not going to argue with you about it.

Like you said ... "you got nothing" .. other than your own pumped up opinion on the subject.

P.S. .. Patrick Miller at Auburn ... Marcus Jackson at TN.

I'm not hear to justify RR's actions. But for the record, he did not leave just to get paid. He had no reason to rush to money. He left because he did not feel like he could improve with a senior year. He felt he had gotten as good as he could get at LSU under the circumstances. He has no ill-will (according to him) but he was a bit frustrated. It's not the volume of the passes, it's the quality of the plays. Honestly, he ran more pro-style stuff in high school even with a full on spread being run.

His work ethic is well known around home. His own position coach, my best friend, calls him lazy. Tells him he has to step it up. But he's the type you have to show rather than tell. And really, when has his status ever been threatened? It seems he's seen the light but we'll see when Nicks and Barden come back. He had a prime opportunity for the #3 spot but got out-worked by less gifted guys. He sulked because he didn't want to return punts. But he's returning punts. He told my boy that Cruz got his attention, and Eli chews his ass on the regular because "Louisiana guys" can't slack. That was Eli's beef with Brandon Jacobs...

Of course its my opinion. That's what forums are. Don't take things so personal.

Its a veteran position and for good reason.

There is a reason these freshman were NOT the starters to start this year and the O'line is a very skilled position.......

Dude .. I don't dispute that it is a veteran position. All positions are better played by a talented veteran. Of course, that's my opinion.

BTW ... when you can demonstrate how calling me an idiot has anything to do with this thread ... I'll stop taking such comments personal.

Interesting insights. I can understand frustration, but again, voicing that stuff all over Twitter is becoming obnoxious.
