I love how Miles is beyond criticism according to many people. Granted I dont like a former player talking this openly about discontent but he has a point. The fact is the LSU players won this game and Miles and Chavis lost it. Ultimately its on Miles as the HC but we all know he is uber conservative these days. I liked him finding his balls again but some of those calls were stupid or could have waited. Miles and Stud have been horrible all year. There is no reason we constantly shoot ourselves in the foot. LSU lacks discipline and focus.
Offense put over 400 yds on Bama. We controlled the clock 39 min of game. It was a damn good game. The fake field goal sucked. And the attempts on 4th. That's 6 we left on the field. That's on coaches. The crowd was loud. It was great seeing all the purple n gold right up till the end. Geaux Tigers! Beat moo U!
I imagine he's still sore about all the ass-chewings the LSU coaches gave him about his work ethic In the BCS title game, Randle was blasted for his work ethic by the media after he put up a half ass effort Then in the Giants v Eagles game this year, Cris Collinsworth questioned Randle's work ethic while calling the game on national tv...saying “Randle’s work ethic has been questioned a bit with the Giants," Collinsworth said. “They’re hoping that he grows up" Then one of Randle's teammates with the Giants, WR Victor Cruz told the New York Post: “Rueben has to understand that this is a business now, it’s not just come out here, lollygag, because you may not be getting as much reps as somebody else, that you shouldn’t be giving as much effort," Victor Cruz told The Post. “He has to understand that each and every day he walks in here he’s a professional and he has to perform no matter what’s being asked of him." Asked whether or not Randle needs to step up and adjust his attitude, Cruz said "I guess. I guess."
Not everyone here is saying that Miles is beyond criticism. Yes, there were questionable calls last night that didn't work. However, if those calls do work, we're all here this morning saying that Miles is a genius. The issue here is a former player running his mouth on Twitter. If RR has issues with Miles that's fine; IMO the running of his mouth makes him look juvenile. Let it go.
I agree that he shouldnt be saying all that on Twitter. However, I do understand it to an extent with the BCSCG and how this game eneded. I dont think its right but I get his frustration. This has been a poorly coached season.
I differ with you. Since, RR has been running his mouth all over Twitter, I don't love him. I love how people have been bitching about "where's the Mad Hatter," so Miles comes out with some ballsy plays (none of which worked), and people are pissed that he took chances. Oh, and suddenly, Miles is calling the defense, too, I suppose. That shit was all on Chavis--it's happened the past 3 games and it cost us one last night. RR was bitching earlier in the season that we didn't throw the ball enough. What was he bitching about, in particular, last night? The defense? The missed FG's? All LSU fans are hurt. But I wish that we could come away proud of the team. No one is hurting worse than them and the coaches this morning.
