He's going to be the hardest in state recruit to keep in state. Alot of peole will be recruiting Randle. Les Miles and company will have to put alot of work into securing his commitment.
How much would playing time for Lee and Jefferson (to show off their talent) play in attracting Randle? If our offense retains its "talent rotation" philosophy, I have to think he'll like his chances of playing a significant number of snaps in his first two seasons - that's gotta be attractive if Lee and Jefferson look strong, and RP comes back for his senior season, no?
He could probably contribute like Tolliver in his freshman year. Not a ton of playing time, but still a decent amount and give him the opportunity to show off his skills. His freshman year I think the WR depth chart will be LaFell, Tolliver, Benton and him... unless the Mitchells/Dixon suddenly turn it on. EDIT: Forgot about the guys we signed this year... I thought the same thing when I read it, but I think he might be trying to say that would seeing the QBs that will be throwing him the ball help make his decision.
