Even if we wont let Mackey play QB I still think he could play WR or some other position. We turned Skyler into a good WR and Syrone C. into a RB, Corey Webster into a CB all where former QBs in hs. Mackey has great potential and playmaking abilities.
If you know someone from bastrop they will tell you he has backed off of that comment. Especially since LSU is his dream school and is willing to play WR or DB.

I wonder if we miss out on Russel Shephard or any other TOP QB next yr will he be looked at as an QB or WR if he has a great year at QB.
So far he is the only 5 Star player from La. But I expect there to be at least a couple of more by year's end.
I'm from Bastrop, and I don't think that the QB job will necissarily be his next year. The Coach may want him right where his is now.
