All the goofiness he's been involved with this year aside. This may just be the spark the Tigers need. Lets see if he can be a leader now. Lets remember a similar situation with MF and the UM. This is RP's chance to shine and take over the helm of this team, and it might be just what "he" needs to get his act together!

yeah this one could go either way.

he could just as easily stink up the joint due to inexperience.....i think he will do fine and provide that spark you are looking for....we need to rally around this kid....he may be our saviour for the next 2 seasons....I sure as hell hope so

As someone pointed out, UT's defense is freaking putrid. I honestly think that we can just outscore 'em if need be.

it bothers me that our offense only seems to score when they "have to" score this season. every time we get behind, we turn on the switch, marh down the field, score, then flip off the switch. i really believe we are due to put together a very good game on both sides of the ball. i hope this team still feels like they need to prove themselves. i think UT's defense, as pointed out, is average at best and we should match up well against them and be very successful. i read the quote from miles in today's press confernece. he said perriloux should do well, if he does not try to do too much....if flynn is not in the game. i think lsu will put perriloux in the position to be successful. it also confounds me that UT's offensive line has not given up a sack all season long. i would like to get ainge rattled and sack him 4-5 times. i do think we can outscore ut if need be as well.

I'm certainly hoping RP plays out of his mind tomorrow but he hasn't had a good game since the Florida game. So, I'm leaning towards him not having a great game. Hopefully our run game will be strong because we will be doing a lot of that if we have some success. I think our D has a strong game, having lost last week, the spotlight is off of us for now and I think they play lights out. The game being in a dome should help us out too.

39 points and over 400 yards per game. You were saying?

You may want to consider that we play in a conference that is hands down the toughest in the nation and that the spread offense has sort of changed the way we all think about defensive stats.

I just hope they are not afraid to run the entire offense with RP. I want to see more spread option and let him chunk it downfield. Please, no I formation. Go for broke today, we have nothing to lose.
