I think we will have a heavy heavy dose or running the ball, including many many option plays by RP. It will set up the pass. We will pick our spots for some long ones, they will be wide open, it will up to RP to connect (as well as our receivers not to drop them). They will not open up the book for RP. It will be a reduced game plan so that it doesn't overwhelm him. It will still be effective however. 14-22 211 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 Rushing TD. Overall Grade = B The TD pass will be from 58 yards out (one of those long ones I alluded to). LSU 31, Tennessee 26
See, Crystal and batty, that's why I suggested you take RP and a couple of RB's in the TFFL picks.
Zackley. We have not explored the option very well and RP I believe has a future with the option. For that matter I thought Flynn had it in him too but seems he always kept it. Look at what the wishbone option did for ARKY!
God I hope I am wrong but I woke up this morning with a bad feeling and now I know it wasnt the Oysters. Not that I wish ill will upon anyone and I hope to God I am wrong, but I think we watch the begining of the end for RP at the helm of LSU.
I think he'll tear it up. The dude is just dyin' for the spotlight. And I think that he's freakishly talented enough to fufill his own boastings about himself.
RP will be fine. He will play well, the coaches will put him in the position to make the right plays. look for a heavy dose of the run game the first half. ut gives up 4.2 yds oer carry. that should bode well for our run game. second half, they let the reighns off perriloux and he performs well in the passing game. look for a little different package with him as a starter. i'd expect he run less and we actually run less option than in the past with him. i look forward to him starting. i think he may be the spark the tigers need going into the game tomorrow. the team seems to respond well when he is in there. i think the defense also comes out and performs well too. i think they have something to prove to themselves and the fans, NOT to pellini.
actually, i am refering to the spark i think the team may need tomorrow, given the huge amount of distractions they have had this week. i think it will be difficult for them to focus on the task a hand, which is winning the seccg and securing the sugar bowl. if perriloux sarts, comes out and does well, i think it can help set the tone for the entire team. i actually have no problem with the ppg output our team has had this year. i feel our offense is very high powered.
I think he'll be fine. The Vols don't have a frightening defense. I like our offense when he is in there anyway. I think he has a great future if he could keep his nose clean.
