Don't know if this has been posted yet.

Watching the boring NM State Fresno game.

The ticker along the bottome reported RP will start in the SECCG.

lets see what he can do. its his car to drive next year. I remember a guy that came in against Tenn in the SECCG unexpectedly.... Matt Mauck. and good things sure came from that.

    Geaux Ryan.

But I sure hope Matt can play the bowl game. Matt Flynn is an amazing Tiger - waiting for his shot when he could have play anywhere else.

This will be interesting to watch because now it's RP's ship.

We will get to see him against a decent SEC defense and everyone will now know what we have in RP.

Does he get rattled under the pressure? Does he protect the ball? Does he make good decisions?

How about some predictions for RP from TF.............

I like the suprise model. RP has been taken for the quick yard gainer and not a lot of air time. Seems with all of the weapons at disposal the game plan studied by the vols just got flushed. I expect a few eggs to be thrown but I also believe a consertative ground attack will be just what the Vols arent looking for. I say he gets it done with a motivated tiger group pushing. Good luck RP! :thumb:

Usually in this situation, the replacement QB does very well, at least in the first half. That's because the opponent has very little if any film to study.

Almost anything RP does should be something of a surprise to Tenn, so we can hope to get off to a great start.

We'll see - but I think RP will have a great game. If they open things up and let him go, we should see some good results. I just hope that the offense isn't restricted in any way. I'd hate to see RP spend most of the time just handing off to Hester and the other RBs.

Whatever happens, it should be interesting at least.

It could certainly make it an interesting game.

    Agreed.

Gotta believe Tenn was preparing mostly for Flynn.
