Sorry but if Xavier Lee was so damn good, Bowden would have tried to salvage the season by playing him this year after watching both of his QBs suck all year long.

Perrilloux would have just as good a chance at starting there as LSU for sure.

His best shot is South Carolina, however. So many on here believe Spurrier and Perrilloux simply don't fit. How silly.

I don't think he would've just taken a redshirt off of a QB midway through the season. Sexton didn't really start to struggle until the end of October, and there's no use burning a star QBs shirt for the last 3 or 4 games of the season.

Lee was last year's #1 dual threat QB and set all kinds of passing records in the state of Florida. He's a very good QB...definitely better than Sexton.

Again, if that is indeed the case that he is much better than Sexton, then Bowden would not wasted this season to using 2 horrible QBs such as Rix and Sexton. Bowden hates to lose as much as any college coach. Any edge he could have gotten he would have used. We shall see next year what this kid can do.

I have never seen Perrilloux mention SC nor have I ever seen SC mention Perrilloux. Are you just speculating or have you seen this somewhere?

seems he's trying to will his prediction to come true. RP = zero interest in SC and Spurrier has no shot it seems.

As stated before Spurrier never recruited a black quarterback and likely wants another Billy Bob & co. to platoon his system where he gets all the glory when they win. Spurrier likes to win but likes his ego more. Thats what caused his demise in the NFL. He had Ramsey killed.

I think dondrial pinkins is a senior so he's done. Can't remember who his backup is.

I agree, not a Spurrier QB. And I say that by looking at his QB's in the past. And to me, I dont see RP taking the benching for making a bad play/read, very well, which SOS is known to do. I think his best "fit" would be in Urban Meyer's offense, which would also take advantage of his running skills. He'd have to wait behind Leak though, who says he is staying all 4 years. RP hasnt shown any interest in UF though.

islstl, you say that he would not have wasted his season. He came into the season thinking that there would be no QB controversy and that Chris Rix would be the starting QB all the way.

Then Wyatt Sexton came in and did a good job until the Wake Forest game. After the Maryland loss, their second of the season (10/30), why would you burn the shirt of a stud QB?

It would be absolutely stupid to burn a shirt of a freshman QB for just three meaningless games when they were already out of the national title hunt and basically out of the race for the ACC title hunt.

While X Lee is very talented, it was reported that he was very raw. He was better off redshirting. He probably wouldnt have been an improvement over the other 2. And I think they had already burnt their other true frosh's redshirt earlier on in the season and he got injured. His name escapes me.

I think the other QB is Drew Weatherford.
