Says he's taking a trip to Austin and might (although it doesn't look good) trip to Baton Rouge. He won't be signing on Wednesday, though.

 

Thanks. You guys are definitely doing something right. Unlikely a lot of other boards, this board really doesn't have a lot of crap around it. Want to let you know I think you guys got a steal in that DB, Odeguwu (sp?). I saw his highlight films on rivals. The kid, though not the biggest guy out there (he's like 5'10", 190lbs) can certainly "bring the thunder!"

I was most impressed and am real disappointed that we couldn't land him--but I'm glad to see that his talents weren't wasted at Texas Tech :thumb:

I keep thinking that Ishie will be moved to CB...His size just points that way..

For someone who has seen his videos:

Is he just that good of a Safety? Or is it just inevitable that he will be moved to CB?

 

This has always confused me, if you don't have to sign on signing day then what is the point of a national signing day?

 

Schools won't hold a scholarship past signing day for just any kid. For Rouse, most schools would hold one I'm guessing.

 

I think it is just so that there is an "official day" that letters can start coming in. I think it is to stop people like Ryan P. from committing early to a place like Texas and signing early only to realize later that you made a mistake or something...

 

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... don't tell the recruits they can wait and sign later !
