to try and keep jjs head in the game instead of pouting on the bench with all his friends, which looks like no one. coaching qbs during the game is a good thing. being segregated with no form of communication is not. jj was waiting on tc mccartney to signal in the last play instead of already knowing to spike it. a little communication would help. it was intimated hes been pushing for this for some time-apparently. hes not taking credit for it being addressed but looks like it trickled down to leslie at least considering the idea. i suppose he has some contact with him on occasion. your problem is the hc. he is too involved as it is. jj starting is your first subtle clue.
i dont know if hes coachable since his attitude is pretty bad. Im sure someone in his ear keeping him aware of game situations wouldnt hurt. then again. id prefer to not baby him anymore. i think thats enabled this attitude. this rewarding crap play is crap in my opinion. this is bigtime football, not Nicholls st.
C'mon Fish, you know JJ is going to get the start!! We all want different but you know what will happen. I hope his playing time is very limited and his leash even shorter but we will have to see.
Actually I don't know...and neither do you...or anyone else here. But yeah, he'll get his playing time...earned or not. I think if Lee is performing adequately, JJ will see less time. But what happens if Lee comes in and throws a pick 6? Ima laugh if JJ then comes in and performs well enough for LSU to win...and watch the message boards implode with a "WTF do we do now"?? FWIW, I think Lee should start. I just think it's funny that...even though Les is full of chit in these pressers, people will gleen what they want to get mad about and take it is gospel truth. On the other hand, people that wanna be happy about something will gleen their own opinions and declare it as gospel truth. Me? I have no clue what will happen, and am happy in my role as fan unable to do a dam thing about any of it.
