2theadvocate.com | Featured LSU Stories | Rosetta: Taking a look into my crystal ball for 2010 — Baton Rouge, LA W - LSU 21, UNC 16 W - LSU 27, Vandy 10 W - LSU 41, MSU 28 L - WVU 28, LSU 21 W - LSU 30, Vols 14 L - UF 38, LSU 24 W - LSU 49, McNeese 10 L - Auburn 24, LSU 20 L - Alabama 39, LSU 31 W - LSU 52, UL-Monroe 6 W - LSU 31, Ole Miss 20 W - LSU 40, Arky 38 W - LSU 26, Wisconsin 13 (Gator Bowl) Here's where I disagree. LSU's defense will be just as stingy this year as last year, maybe stingier. I don't think the Tigers will give up that many points. I also don't think LSU loses to Auburn or West Virginia, but I do think LSU drops one to either Arky or UNC. I'm calling 10-3, fewer points for opponents (about 13 point average), New Years Day bowl as the #3 team in SEC, with a return to punishing second tier out of conference foes.
I think most on here would take the offense that she predicts, as far as how many points we're going to score. I do agree that defensively it would be a step back if we give up that many points.
I definitely dont think we lose to UNC or WV... the loses will probably be Arkansas and Florida, we beat the rest.
I agree on the point that our defense shouldn't give up that many points. I disagree with the article on the losses and who we lose to. IF we lose to anyone, I think it would most likely be to Bama and Florida. I think we will win all other games, but these two will be the most heavily contested and come down to the last minute.
where's that world cup octopus when you need him? i would like to see his prediction. LSU isn't losing to West Vagina.
We haven't had a bigger first game of the season since we played Va Tech. If we lose, we may be in for a long season. A win, especially a convincing one, could springboard us to a very successful season.
you would think that even with all of the access this guy has to the practices, coaches, and players that there is no way in hell he could predict those types of scores, there are just too many things about this team that NO ONE will be able to predict until after a few downs of football are logged. IF the offense puts up that many points this season, what's the excuse for the pitiful defense? i think that both sides of the ball will progress about the same, with the defense being the better unit, not the other way around. those score predictions are preposterous. i had to stop here.... if miss state is able to "blueprint" against our defense then the rest of the season is a loss cause.
