texas fans were everywhere in 05. (and the most arrogant obnoxious fans i have ever encountered.) they had a lot of fans this time too. just not nearly as many as lsu. in the ticket upgrade line both sat and mon, it was easily 3/4 lsu fans. lsu fans just travel and thats all there is to it. there were more usm fans than i expected to see. i guess this being their first cws, and coach corky's last season to coach most of their fans wanted to be there. for such a small school, they had an impressive showing!
Texass fans said the same thing. I got my undergrad from USM, so I'm glad to hear they traveled well. (And didn't have to lose to us )
I hate having to reply in the thread I started, but here's another comment I liked. Again, no surprise there, but it's nice to hear others acknowledging what we already know.
