Re: Brent Musberger slowly becoming more disliked than Lou Holtz I'm sure he knows that his pep talks are a jinx and given his despise of all things LSU, I won't be surprised if he gives LSU the pep talk to jinx them and eventually lose.
Agreed. Sad though when the bar is set and then only seen as being good enough when you can surpass the likes of Palmer or Leinart. Booty did go 20-3 and won 2 Rose Bowls. This current class has gone 59-6. And I dare say that Booty has class, composure, and respect beyond ML. Palmer likewise is on a completely different level.
It figures that USC would get the one Booty brother that turned out to be worth a darn on the field. But seriously, he does seem to come across as a good kid in his interviews.
Is Pat Hayden still the USC standard? That guy got more out of himself than guys twice the size. Not big, not a big arm but a big time gamer.

Re: Here we go again...USC trying to claim a stake as NC Sorry, they blew their chances during the regular season. Maybe they should have planned ahead and scheduled tougher or higher ranked opponents during the season next time.:hihi:
Re: Here we go again...USC trying to claim a stake as NC Easy to say a healthy Trojan team would be better then an injured Tiger team givin the comparison. Jackazz.
Re: Here we go again...USC trying to claim a stake as NC Resistance is futile. You cannot use logic with these people.
Re: Here we go again...USC trying to claim a stake as NC Here we go again...USC trying to claim a stake as NC First thing they need to do then is call Stanford and ask for their stake back.
Re: Here we go again...USC trying to claim a stake as NC Agreed. IMO, the two best teams are playing on monday, and the winner will be the true NC. Let the media whine all they want. USC will get their shot at tOSU early next year, so I expect a lot of the pregame hype to center on this so called controversy. If anything, this year has shown that college teams are often all over the place, so, IMO, you have to look at the entire season when considering who's the NC, and it's clear that monday's winner will have had the best season in CFB this year.
