All these teams can claim is that they are playing their best ball at the end of the season, much like LSU last year when we beat the crap out of a non-deserving Notre Dame team.
Re: USC Deserves AP Title (per Yahoo Sports) I disagree. I think 4 teams is enough. I've always said, get rid of the NC game. Then, take the winners of the 4 BCS games and put them in a 3 game playoff. Sure, some teams would still have a legitimate gripe about not even making it to a BCS game (Missouri), but at least the title is decided on the field. I think this would be the easiest playoff to implement, it keeps the regular season 'meaningful' and keeps the bowl system in tact.
lol... at least Herbie and Beerboy didn't start showing charts on air to "prove" their point.... ala Gary Danielson.

Re: USC Deserves AP Title (per Yahoo Sports) You are right about that. I was actually impressed with the # of Hawaii fans that were at the game last night. They had a very large and loud (at the start of the game) section in the terrace and the rest in the lower bowl from the 50 through one of the endzones. UGA pretty much had the rest with some scattered empty seats in the uppers. Also had a good bit of LSU fans. I heard one UGA fan say that he didn't know he was in the LSU section. At the beginning of the game there was a chant of U-G-A, followed by a chant of L-S-U.

Re: USC Deserves AP Title (per Yahoo Sports) Those players understand that USC was protected by the Rose Bowl and Ohio State jumped Georgia in the polls while neither team played a single snap, which shows just how corrupt of a setup the whole BCS system really is. Do I think that both LSU and Georgia are both better than Ohio State? YES! I just hope that LSU doesn't have a let down with Pelini on the way out.
vball, I wish to congratulate you and your mighty Trojans for completely dismantling the Illinois Illini. It is a befitting end to their season and a continuation of their legacy. Thanks for always sharing your perspective and opinion as well as your accolades for our Tigers when the sugar pours. I am sure there are some big 10ers round here which owe you the same! :thumb:
