Wait a minute.....you're putting words in my mouth. I purposefully worded it not to attract that kind of response. Look closely:

Does not say, exclusively, because of them. LSU had MANY contributions from Miles' recruits to both get there and win the Sugar Bowl. :thumb:

Ill-Noise board is comical. Those losers need to win more than 3 games in two seasons before they can talk crap about ND. Prying Benn and Wilson away from ND was certainly huge, and ND clearly wanted and needed players like those two players, but the rest of their recruiting class is crap that no other major programs wanted.

And irish losers need to win a bowl game before you get 10 losses in a row. Your assistants called Benn up to the 11th hour just like Chucky called Chris Galippo until the day before LOI. Strange how a RB would commit to Zook and then change to ND, huh?

Come out of hiding when ND becomes relevant again. By the way, I'd be happy to loan you some C&H so you can "sweeten" up bitter.

Ill-noise, that crappy little program, is now all upset and crying to anybody who cares that ND recruited against it by telling potential recruits that Ill-noise was a crappy little program going nowhere. They had to do an internal investigation about what was going on with the program, but they haven't turned up anything yet. Personally, I still have my doubts about Ill-noise, why any five star recruit would want to squander their talent unless some money changed hands. At least, with SC and Reggie Bush, it wasn't so blatantly obvious.

Comic genius. nd fans have now turned their attention downward cause guess what? Your program is on par with Illinois. If the domers are so great and we all know they are cause you keep telling everyone that they are, why do you care what's going on at Illinois? Ron Zook will either prove to be a good coach on the field or just a good recruiter......time will tell. Meanwhile, donut boy is still looking for his first bowl win.

They can go to an underated Illinois program or a greatly overated ND program, either way they will be playing about the same level of football. As much as ND fans don't want to hear it Illinois and ND are more alike than they are different, neither is a legitimate threat to a real football team.

Yeah, a Illinois team that's won three games in the past two seasons is on par with a ND team that's gone to two consecutive BCS bowl games.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

They should just change Illinois' mascot to the Crying Illini.

The only reason ND was in the BCS the last 2 years is because of the tv following the team has and the sweetheart BCS deal ND has because of its following. No way ND should have been in the BCS either year. Also if Illinois played the entire military school circuit they could pad their win loss record too. Notre Dame has been living off of its past for many years now. Notre Dame hasn't been a national power for many years and it doesn't look like they will be any time soon. I wouldn't be suprised at all if Illinois is looking down at ND within a few years while charlie cheeseburgers waistline grows as fast as his legend dies. JMO

Actually, Illinois does have a soft schedule but they just sucked so much that they would lose their gimme games, like those against MAC opponents. Say this about ND, but it won the games it should have won and lost the games it should have lost. Because of Coach Willingham, ND didn't have the same talent level on the field as the SCs, Ohio States, LSU. But, now Weis is starting to close that talent gap and soon ND will reclaim its spot in college football.

I thought Weis was a super great hire and would turn ND around lightning quick, but I have serious doubts now. I'm not impressed with his recruiting or coaching at this point.
