    Why is this important?

    English was supposedly the 2nd person that was offered the New Mexico DC job along with Mallory.

    If that was the case, then Mallory is gone.

    And English is obviously not a candidate to be our next DC, which brings a sigh of relief to all LSU fans.

    wasn't english the DC at louisville?

    wouldn't louisville to a dc job at new mexico be a step down? i don't see why i why he would have even considered that move.

    No. It was Louisville linebacker coach Bill Miller. ESPN has speculated that Miller will replace English.
