Geez, they are kids and their primary connection to the University where you are committing your life for four years is leaving. Not to justify anything dramatic but kids are going to express their displeasure largely based upon how they have learned to express themselves from their parents and mentors. As frustrating as it can be, at the end of the day I tend to give most of them the benefit of the doubt. Lord knows if I had been held accountable for every word I've ever said I wouldn't be alive today.
