Not sure but Brooks looked pretty good at the AA game. Nice pickup great to get a kid that can and has played multiple positions. I sure hope this doesnt mean the staff isnt feeling good about Tolliver or that Benton might not get the grades.

He wanted to play WR, we wanted him at DB so most people figured he would go somewhere else. However, he performed pretty well at the Army All-American game as a WR & also got in good with some La boys there. Just a personal opinion, but considering his talk about the WR position, I think we told him he would be looked at first as a WR but that if he couldn't crack the 4 deep or whatever then he would be switched to DB.

I don't see how he can what with Doucet, the Mitchells, and Lafell right in front of him... and Toliver and Benton coming in.

Breaux may have had a career-ending neck injury. The doctors are telling him he will never play again, but he has other ideas.

It will be at least a year of rehab before we find out...

As far as recruiting in concerned, he sees our top 2 wideouts graduating & our 3rd option is going to be a senior. Those other guys are going to be on the same level as him in his mind since they haven't proven themselves on the field.

They never said he would never play again, they said they would not recommend him playing again - pretty big difference. They expect him to play in 2 years, you never know until that day comes, but he's already rehabbing very well & there's no reason to think he won't.

Brooks is a very fast WR, and could push for Kickoff/Punt returner as well IMO.

Can you expound on this? Which La boys did he get in good with? Just curious if it was others we are trying to land.

It is said that he got in real well with Luther Davis and Steffoin Francois. Yeah I am pretty sure Francois is a LOCK.
