Francois hasn't commited, but Brooks said that he & Luther Davis were recruiting him to LSU in a Scout article. Brooks is a very nice get. I think we try him at WR first with CB in the back of our minds, but if we do want to try him at WR first then this may have filled all our spots for the position - leaving out Byrd and Mason (& Dez Bryant/Thompson for those who refuse to let those 2 go).
Pardon my stupidity! I misread the article and thought it said LSU picked up it's 2nd commit on Thursday, when actually it said 22nd commit, and meant of 22 total commits! I am embarassed, and will go now.
In his interview following his announcement, he spoke about us losing 3 WR's and that being a situation where he has a chance to get early playing time. ...so I guess they want to try him at WR thinking that Breaux, Williams and Phelon Jones are going to be the CB's in this recruiting class.
What about Tolliver? Are you just assuming that there will always be a spot for somebody of Tolliver's talent?
