Fumbles the ball at the 1 yard line of the Jets where the Cowboys would have gone up by 2 scores with less than 10 minutes to go. Throws a late pick (horrible decision) that allows the Jets to win the game. If you're a Cowboys fan, you should switch teams. Romo is only 30 and he'll demolish your dreams for the foreseeable future.
Former LSU Player Danny Mc had a good game........ http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2011091112/2011/REG1/cowboys@jets#menu=highlights&tab=analyze
Romo is a bum. He doesn't work hard in the offseason, and therefore gets no respect in season. He likes the idea of being a quarterback but doesn't want the responsibility. He's still trying to get by on natural talent. I don't think he worked a tenth as hard as Brees in the offseason.
I don't like the Cowboys by nature and therefore have never liked Romo. However, he obviously has a lot of talent and is a top 10 (or so) QB. He just always seems to be making critical mistakes at the absolute worst times. I wouldn't completely count out the guy. He's got two elite WRs and one of the best pass catching TEs. I think the Cowboys have enough talent to compete for one of the wild card spots this year.
On ESPN today they were having what has become an annual discussion: Is Tony Romo overrated? My answer: if you find yourself asking the same question every year, the answer is probably yes. Fact is, the only reason Romo gets any pub at all is because he is the QB of the Dallas Cowboys. If he were with the Browns, the Jags, or the Saints (who would never have moved to the next level if Romo and not Brees were their QB), Romo would not even be on the radar.
Jerry's got too much money invested in this fool. Romo sucks IMO, but I rather enjoy watching the cowgirls lose.
My sentiments exactly. He's just like his ex Jessica Simpson, such a tease. He brings the cowboys right to the edge of being relevant only to fumble it away year after year. He's just the QB that loud mouth Jerry Jones deserves.
