Denver/Dallas game in which Romo inexplicably threw it to Sam Hurd a second consecutive time with Champ Bailey defending him. Cowboys Corner: Romo didn't know it was fourth down? Maybe that's why threw it to Hurd again. And Chicken of the Sea is not made with chicken.
Actually I live in Dallas and this has been debated, it was explained and this isnt true. He did know it was fourth down, he got confused after the incomplete because the down marker on the sideline was wrong and still had 3, so he was looking at the ref asking "is it really 3rd down" that is why he had 3 fingers up So he did know it was fourth. Doesn't diminish the fact he has sucked over the last 10 games and continues to suck at QB.
Has anyone noticed that Tony looks depressed or something? Watch him play, he isn't smiling anymore, he looks out of it. I used to hate the Cowboys, but then Bradie James got drafted, Marcus Spears, Steven Peterman, Skyler Green, and i started cheering for them, plus living in Dallas its damn near impossible to not hear about the Cowboys. I hope they get back on track because other than LaRon i hate the Redskins, i don't like the Eagles, and other than C Web, i don't like the Giants.
now the word on the street is the Cowboy organization is covering up for Romo and the embarrassment this would cause. I think the damage is done already.
Yes, I would think having Romo as your starting QB is embarrassing enough. Saintslogo Saintslogo Saintslogo
Amazing. This guy went from being the next Brett Favre "gunslinger" media darling to the trash pile. Man, what happened?
Apparently Romo was trying to manipulate the officials. He was trying to make them think that 4th down was actually 3rd down, and that he should get another down, when the 4th down pass was broken up by Champ Bailey. At least that is what he says. Don't know if i am buying that. Nice try though. Romo clears up fifth down confusion -- sort of - NFC East - ESPN
