Looked pretty bad today. QB rating under 75. Looks like he can spend as much time in Cabo as he wants now. The great T.O. had zero catches in the 2nd half. It will probably be one and done for Phillips as head coach, unfair as it may seem.
Kinda hard to find an open reciever when your offensive line is not blocking anybody. As much as most people are going to blame Romo...I think it was squarely on the offensive line in the second half.
Romo didnt play bad, though. He did a great job avoiding pressure and some others needed to help out. Im not saying he played perfect, but if you watch TO in the PC, he is dead on about Romo. The Cowboys as a whole weren't bad either, but they were only average at everything, and in the playoffs you can't win like that. The Pack are my 2nd favorite team so Ill take it.
At least we get to see the Packers host the Giants for the Championship!! OLD SCHOOL MATCHUP, MEN!! OLD SCHOOL !! Put a little snow on the ground and a little wind in the air . . . IT'S CHAMPIONSHIP TIME AGAIN IN TITLE TOWN USA, GREEN BAY !!
He lost his composure. That was the most of ANY game I'd watched so can't say what I saw was a true picture but what I saw today was a cryin lil bitch on the field and when, in an attmept to get his attention and get him to listen, he put his hand on that ref walking to talk to the other one- kinda pulling on his arm- I thought it was close to warranting a fine. Probably just oversensitive though cause I can't stand Dallas and have a father-in-law who LOVES them. After the game, I did tell the wife to call her dad and tell him Dallas sucks.
You have to wonder if they didn't abandon the run a little too quickly after they got behind. The drop by Crayton was the costliest play of the entire game. He may have gone the distance, or at least 40-50 yards downfield. Probably the other turning point was when the Dallas defense just disappeared with less than 50 seconds to go in the half. That was unforgivable.
I saw a lot of composure lost during that game on both teams, but it was another good game! Can't wait till next weekend.
For some reason, this all makes up for the Saints missing the playoffs. Watching Romo choke away another playoff game was just wonderful. Although, I guess he gets the last laugh, as he'll probably be on the beach with Jessica Simpson again next weekend. Then again, maybe she's the type who doesn't like losers...
I think an even better visual for Cowboy haters is Jerry Jones on the sideline looking lost and bewildered.
