As much as I hate going to Jaw-Ja I will be there. I can't pass on the opportunity to watch a smackdown put on either the Dawgs or the Vols. Although I think the Dawgs will be a tougher matchup, that is I really want to see us play them. It sill stings when I think about making the trip over there in '04 and watching the Tigers get whipped. I know we will play them again in '08, but it would shut up all the "LSU cannot beat this Georgia team" talk. LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU!
I think I'd rather play Georgia than Florida...Good thing that they won't be there...Give me Georgia or Tennessee any saturday.
Got two tickets to the game. One room at the Marriott in Buckhead. Any links to LSU events in ATL Friday?
I guess the good news is, I just saved about $1200 with this loss today. I cancelled my flight right after the loss. Better spent on important things anyway.
Who else is jumping off of the bandwaggon? I still think making it to the SEC Championship is one heck of a feat, considering how tough this conference truly is. For those planning on making the trek to Atlanta, who has already been asked if you're still going? My mom is the only one to ask so far. My response to her was "...why wouldn't I go?" I love my Tigers and I will support them through thick and thin. I've never been to the SEC Championship and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to make it to the championship in my senior season so I get to experience the crowning of the champion in the toughest conference in the nation.
W are still making the trip. Why wouldn't tiger fans!? Atlanta is always a fun trip and our seniors still have the opportunity to go out as champions.
Atlanta is always a good time. Like my dad said, if you can win the SEC, the best conference in the country, you're the best team in my mind. I'm looking for to the weekend, and I think I might just have to get even more trashed in Atlanta now!
