And you know what? That is what you believe, we don't have to agree. What this decision does is allows us to be able to make the choice. If you really want to kill your baby and you live in a state that doesn't allow it you will have to move or travel to a state that does. If people live in a state that doesn't allow it they can vote in/out people that represent their views. Roe was a terrible thing and I'm glad it is gone.
fine by me, if sluts have to go to cancun because the whole country outlaws abortion, i dont care. really shouldnt need many abortions if you are a sane human. abortion is not an issue i care about at all. i prefer to concentrate on more clear-cut issues like legalizing marijuana and pushing back against govt infringement on free speech. kill babies, or dont, i dont give a shit
I read that Alito makes it clear it should not impact other decisions such as the right to marry a person of a different race or same sex and the right to contraception. Biden and the democrats are running around saying that is exactly what will happen. Scare tactics much?
Abortion debate aside, the majority here agree that it should be a states rights issue. If it indeed becomes a states rights issue after the ruling, should or could a state be able to make it illegal for one of its citizens to go out of state for an abortion?
The problem is what has happened to our society. I think we all see it some here don't or turn a blind eye to it. However anyone with a heart and soul know we as a society are not in a good place.
NOW you have found the live wire. The left made this play as an attempt to distract people from the things that are really hurting us. They have hitched the wagon to a lame donkey because the majority are not going to use this as a key issue when voting
I think EVERYBODY says society is not in a good place. Both sides. Any side. We need a good old fashioned attack on American soil to unite us again. I am kidding, but it does seem that is what it takes. (and no, not Jan 6.)
I don't see how. Maybe that is because my mind is not capable of thinking like a liberal. How would they even do that, if you pregnant you are no longer allowed to cross state lines? Doesn't seem very free
Well, la de da. He has no logical reason to take away a constitutional right in one case but not in the others. His only rationale is that restricting a woman's dominion over her own body is that he thinks it's "moral" to do so at THIS moment, totally ignoring the fact that other people might think that interracial marriage is immoral, and that same sex marriage is immortal, and that contraception is immoral, and that sex devices are immoral, and that oral sex is immoral. HE HAS NO FUCKING CASE except that some jackasses gave that hideous creep a vote that affects us all. And, by the way, it's not like these ultra-right wing nutjobs on the Court didn't lie their asses off to get onto it. I personally think that it's immoral he's on the Court... shouldn't he resign because of it?
