And that's the fatal flaw in Alito's bullshit. The Constitution does not "grant rights". That's placing the horse before the cart. It's the opposite: rights of the people are foundational to the Constitution, not subject to, and that people should be masters of their own bodies is implicit throughout the document. For example, there can be no such thing as "an unreasonable search and siezure" if the right to privacy is not the implicitly recognized foundation.

This is not totally true. Ectopic Pregnancy is a case were termination is warranted. The BIG difference here, it's not "my body my choice" ... it's the DOCTOR making the call to spare the pregnancy from damaging the fallopian tube. Such is not part of the Roe v Wade debate, as such is a medical procedure and has nothing to do with a woman's "right" to get an abortion. Every woman I've known who has had to terminate due to ectopic pregnancy was devastated but thankful they could get busy and try again.
