Who said anything about beoing forced? I hear 12 year olds and younger are having a lot of sex these days. I hear a lot of them are the aggressors. Oh I hear there is something called adoption you may have heard of that. I also hear there are waiting list for babies. So instead of dismembering a living child in the womb allow a loving family to adopt.

What that means in a practical sense is that Louisiana will have to investigate EVERY ONE of those miscarriages to catch what might be a potential murderer. OR NOT. Of course, Louisiana doesn't have enough law enforcement nor the budget to investigate every miscarriage, so those investigations will have to be SELECTIVE. Let's predict who will get investigated under this new law, shall we? Would Mrs. Brian Gunter get investigated? HA! His daughter? HA again. When pigs fly. Will rich people be investigated? Probably not. Will friends and family members of the various DA's get investigated? Yeah, riiiiiiiight. Their campaign donors? When hell freezes over. Party members? Unlikely. Political opponents? Sometimes things go wrong... that zygote doesn't make it all the way and implants itself into the wall of the fallopian tube, instead, giving rise to what medical professionals call an "ectopic pregnancy". Thankfully, it's not a common occurrence but it does happen 100,000 to 200,000 times per year in the USA. You can expect that in Louisiana, which has about 4% of the country's population, it happens to up to 10,000 women and girls per year. If that woman/girl takes a pregnancy test, the result will be positive. Still, an ectopic pregnancy can't continue as normal. As the fertilized egg grows in the improper place, signs and symptoms become more noticeable. There develops a severe risk of rupture and bleeding, and then a risk of death. Under this new proposed Louisiana law, that zygote is a person, whose destruction is categorized as murder. So, what's a woman/girl to do? Seek medical help for correction, where the zygote will die? Or just die and take the zygote down to death with her? My guess is that the "Reverend" (what a laugh) Brian Gunter would prefer the second course of action. Except of course if it's his own daughter we're talking about.
