Probably one of the more overblown LSU/Bama battles I have seen. Beckwith has always been all LSU and really didn't go look anywhere else. Don't really see how it became a big story but people have to find something to write about I guess.
That's great to hear. If LSU can finish this class up with Willis, Beckwith and possibly McNeil, that would be an awesome finish to an already awesome class. The Tigers are reloading on both sides of the ball with this class with the exception of RB. And if Fournette comes in next year with another strong class, LSU will be loaded for the next several years. Now let's go out and recruit a new OC to really finish this class out strong.
I won't hold my breath on Willis until he actually signs. Kid tells everyone what they want to hear and then it changes with the wind. Would love to have him but without all the nonsense. McNeil isn;t looking too good to qualify and if he was I think he would be committed already.

Because you have to make sure its not at least in part due to the kid or his parents trying to get something illegal out of the deal. Think $cam Newton.
