    Not sure how you figure.

If there are say: 500,000 combinations and you own 2 of them, instead of 1, how do you not have a better shot?

I know each individual ticket holds the same odds. But the accumulation of tickets gives you a better chance.

If he gets a chance at another BCS school, which he probably will, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he lands at Florida...he'll have to sit out one year, giving him two years of eligibility left...just in time to possibly replace Lord Tebow after his senior season next year. Who knows? Either way, if he transfers, he's losing a year. I don't see how the NCAA would consider hardship for this instance.

Each ticket has the same odds as winning. Owning 1 or 5,000 1 in 10 million chances is not the same as 5,000 in a million. Since only 1 ticket can win your odds do not change from a statistical standpoint even in if you sum the odds.

Also each ticket does not have an independent failure co-efficient so, even if you have the winning ticket multiple others may also have it, and since buying more tickets increases the odds of duplicate outcomes. This serves to negate any advantage in owning multiple tickets.

My whole point is that we don't have enough schollies to increase our odds.

you went way over my head, which is cool.

I don't play Lotto and I'm not good at math.

But I'd rather have 4-5 scholarship QBs than 2-3 like we had this year.

Don't know what sort of math formula you have for that. :hihi:

Only one quaterback can play at a time. We just need one really good one. We may have that in Jefferson.

If so, more power to him.

We may have that in Shepard. If so, more power to him.

    But we may not.

So it's good to keep as many guns in the shelf as possible.

Can't have too much pitching in baseball. Can't have too many PGs in basketball and can't have too many QBs in college football.

Maybe "thug" was the wrong term to use. I mean he is the QB of "Thug U" so I thought it would fit. I should have said gangsta wannabe, loser, problem child, I wont let you pick because obviously you have a man crush for Marve.

Research? Most of my "research" was done on Miami boards where more than half of the posters agreed that he wasn't needed anymore and wouldn't be upset if he did leave. They were mostly in agreement that he was a loser that finds trouble and thinks he's God's gift to football.

When did I mention tattoos? I have 5...So I have no clue where this comes from.

You seem like a closet Miami fan to me... :thumb:

I read that it was a battle between Bama and Miami to get him out of high school, but now Bama isn't interested in him anymore.

    It was. Shula wanted him.

Shula is an idiot and the fact that LeRon McClain is doing very well in the NFL shows that he had no clue what he was doing as a HC...Because McClain was barely utilized as a ball carrier--something that drove Bama fans nuts--among others when Shula was running the show.
