Internet Student-Athlete Defense Fallacy #1: Because all of us acted an ass as college students, it is therefore improper to criticize student-athletes who are doing the same. :dis:
fallacy, not at all, so thats your failure to even mention that. Im not defending him at all. But its a little hypocrtical, unless you are Jesus. When the guy commits murder or armed robbery let me know. My point is every guy with an attitude problem isnt a thug. Your logic is a fallacy.
Nothing in the aforementioned group of words could be misconstrued as a logical thought. I disagree. I'd probably say that 'thug' is a little out of bounds but I don't think criticizing his spoiled attitude is over the top at all. Some of us went to class, didn't drink, studied hard, and graduated with an A average. :dis:
Right and when they call you for the job to be at the gate with St. Peter, then I'll listen to you criticize other people. what isnt logical about your failure of mentioning something that stupid:huh: Or maybe you just have a problem with me, then at that point, I really couldnt give a shyt
So criticism is out of bounds with you. Got it, Tirk. :dis: Again, I can judge actions without condemning the guy. Nobody said he should be kicked off of the team. Stupid? Assuming that 'everyone acts up while in college, therefore criticism is out of bounds' is the definition of a logical fallacy.
Not out of bounds with me at all. You can say whatever you liked about a person, but I'm willing to bet that you have made a few mistakes in your life. I'll just continue to call you a hypocrit and we'll get along and go along just fine It isnt just about college, life in general chief. Unless your the second coming.
He's not a thug, he is a pirate. Arrr!!! Plant High School quarterback Robert Marve, at the Jose Gaspar pirate ship along Bayshore Boulevard. (Times photo by Brian Cassella)
Sure, and I deserve criticism for them. Only if you actually knew me, which you don't. Again, you'll never hear me criticize a person for premarital sex or having children out of wedlock. :thumb: Thanks for the words of wisdom. They might be better received if they were used and spelled properly. :thumb:
