It's nice to have a QB with a little experience as one of the backups. Does anyone know if he could play another position for us? WR?

Miles looses the latest dual non-threat QB to eligibility and in 7 months, before the next season, gets another dual non-threat QB with a record of dual non-threat. He is stuck on that type. We don't even have to wait and see on this one.

First, the dual-threat QB that LSU had in the 2011 season was BETTER than the pro style QB who was in his 5th year at LSU last year. NOT saying Jefferson was good BTW but the problem clearly was not "dual threat" or "pro style"...the problem was the quality of those 2 QBs. Bolden completed 58% of his passes last year which would be good enough IMO if his TD to INT ratio was better. Bottom line....Michael Vick was a pretty good "dual threat" QB. I believe Cam Newton won the Heisman as a "dual threat" QB. Tim Tebow won a Heisman as a "dual threat" QB. Like I said, the problem is NOT dual threat.

"Last season, Bolden completed just 53 of 135 passes (39 percent) for 685 yards with seven interceptions and two touchdowns for an efficiency rating of 76.4."

He is a NON-threat. Would you liken him more to Tebow and Newton or more to JJ?

Look, I know he didn't come in here to start but to be some experienced insurance in case things go wrong. But if things do go wrong, LSU is where they were last year....an talented team with an untalented QB.

Wow, you do know that Dewey LOST the election to Truman right? ;) The "last season" in your quote was NOT 2011...it was 2010. And that poster who posted that truth FAILED to mention that Bolden was the first TR FR starter in Penn State in 100 years. His QB rating last year was something like 118 (from memory, may be off). His completion percentage LAST SEASON was 58%. Anyway, I suggest you complain to Dr Who that the Tartus dropped you off a year too early. I fully support this take by Les Miles...brilliant move...hopefully, it won't be proven to be absolute genius which means that Mettenberger would go down due to injury. But would I prefer Bolden to be the backup compared to future WR Randall or Rivers who threw a pick 6 in the spring game? Duh!!!

Good lord did he really say that? If we get that desperate I'd rather take my chances with Shepperd taking snaps or Kragthorpe's kid......I noticed he kinda snuck in under the radar per DandyDon this morning.

Get your facts strait, apologize, issue a retraction, and stop it with the Dr Who 1948 elections results schtick or I may just have to ignore you douchewhopper.

You can keep your opinion. You are allowed to have a wrong opinion just not wrong facts.
