SaintSlidell, LSUtiga, Martin, tlo1507, Tirk, and mancha on ignore It took 9 posts to make the list...and there are some heavy hitters on this list. If you ignore everyone on the forum are you really on the forum?
Dude, you are quoting Einstein aren't you? Stereotyping? I did not say they were right. I said they did and a lot of kids are refused release. You can't just go hopping from one college to the other. It is called a commitment, Jackwagon I'm not sure where you are going with this. If benching wasn't a big deal then people wouldn't be benched Jamiles. That team will not win the National Championship. Hasn't happened yet pudsucker I know your still out there. If being stupid and delusional in posts counted everyone would have ignored you by now.
Strange how Bolden is looking very good according to the writers for the newspapers, writers for the pay websites, etc. Wow, looks like they are as clueless as Coach Les Miles and Kragthorpe huh? Too bad we don't have the loser who claims that Bolden is a nobody running the program. Then, we wouldn't have wasted a scholarship on a "dual threat QB".
LOL. If I do the math right (and I am apparently not very good at math) it isn't me! In this and most other circumstances when I take a negative stance, I would rather Bolden prove me wrong than right.
Tommy Frazier, Charlie ward, Heath shuler and Eric crouch were pretty average (compared to the ow, Vick, newton).. But very successful (although so was jj).
I have no idea why dual threat QBs get the bad rap they do. I assume it is ignorance by some people. Matt Mauck was dual threat and not great by any stretch but LSU won a NC with him at QB so he was clearly successful. Tee Martin won a NC at Tennessee 1 year after Peyton Manning for 4 years had failed to win one. Once again, whether a guy is a good QB has nothing to do with whether he can run well (which essentially is the distinction for dual threat vs pro style). Because of course you are going to pass from the pocket (pro style) if you have the mobility of dried concrete...no surprise there. Bottom line, you have great dual threat QBs, horrible dual threat QBs, and those in between. Same with pro style.
here's a Miles quote on Bolden published a few days ago by NBC Sports: "We had a great need at quarterback," Miles said. "We recruited Rob several years ago and he chose Penn State. ... Two or three months ago, his high school coach called and said that Rob was interested in transferring. "Rob will be a nice addition to our team," Miles continued. "Coming out of high school, he was very, very talented. Right now, he can't call a play for us. He has a long way to go."
