NCAA changing rules to accommodate USC-UCLA jersey tradition | The Fabulous Forum | Los Angeles Times not sure if the SEC has their own rule in place about permission other than allowing contrasting colors though.
I did say not the same. bama didn't agree, but UT can wear the orange anyway if they don't mind the 15yarders. All though this has nothing to do with the white at home for us. Here is the article with the rule. http://blog.al.com/bamabeat/2009/10/alabama_denies_tennessee_reque.html
gotcha thanks for the clarification, so really if both team agree then cool, oif not the away team can still wear the jerseys and get a penalty or two.
You see, JL threw a bunch of picks and that was with contrasting jersies and now with both teams in dark jersies...Oh. Never mind. It wasn't that funny.
I've always thought it could be an advantage for our players to always wear white jerseys. Wether at home or away, they know who to throw the ball to and who to tackle. It could be considered a slight visual edge for the players I guess. Don't need to confuse the boys anymore than you have to.
What color does your wife paint a room when she wants it to look bigger? White. What colors do fat people wear when they want to look thinner? Dark colors. White makes you look bigger.
this is how i remembered it being. seems like another team (possibly Auburn) tried to do this to us a while back.
