What makes a 57 year old feel like a teenager ? LSU football and hitting the road. Got mag Tigers on both doors, one flag flying , LSU #1 on the bumper. Got my new LSU purple and gold shirt on with my new LSU hat. Tickets in the car and I am up at 4 am. Here we come Atlanta :tigereye:

Got home at about 4pm and had a great trip. I listened to about 30 min of Les hate on WWL on the way back. I saw some good things like all of you did but many things that just don't add up. I don't understand the 10 yard buffer for CB's all night after they went to a 3 step quick slant that worked and worked and worked. 15 got beat all night! No pressure on QB and we did not run the ball. Fubbles and the late hits hurt so bad ! But I think Ford is coming and I know the D will play better. I was sitting right next to the band and I can tell you those last 2 plays killed me. Hard to watch. QB did his job and I think we hit the guy early on the last play. We win and I will take it. We need to see a running game and no turn overs against Vandy. I think this was one of the games we win that we should of lost and I hope this team turns to some good basic football and beat Vandy with a rushing game and good solid D. I can't explain the late hits the holding call and the fumbles! I know CLM didn't make those plays but for the folk that hate him I know it's his fault. One game at a time and get better each game. Amazing amount of play makers on this team. I am not giving up on them Geaux Tigers
I've seen passes defended like this many times and have always wondered why no PI was called. I've seen it so often that I think defenders must be coached to defend passes this way. As much as I was miffed at Pianalto for burning the defense the way he did, he is a class act: LSU Tigers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels - Recap - September 04, 2010 - ESPN I don't know if I believe what he said but he's got a lot of class to take the blame and not blame non-calls.
I agree both could have been caught No excuss for the last fumble by 34 none. I was thinking well they have no time-outs and they have to get a TD. We are still good. Wrong! I am thinking this will be one of the all time worst loses ever. Then I told myself it's not a SEC game. I put the game program over my eyes but I just had to watch the play with 6 seconds left. Right in front of me. I was so excited he dropped it and then I looked at the clock. 2 SECONDS I thought they would come back and when he threw it clean I thought TD. He dropped it again. I have a funny feeling about all this but I am not going to talk until I see what Ford does to change this team. I just have a feeling. :miles:
