According to this, it doesn't seem like a disciplinary action to me. Miles is encouraging hard hitting. It may be coach talk, but it does make sense that they would want to keep RJF's health under the wraps. I think it's unfortunate, but RJF assuredly learned his lesson from this and will just make him hungrier for USCe. Of course we could have used him for UF, but at least Miles is teaching the young man a life lesson which is more important than a football game.
RJF will be missed, but we have good depth at right tackle. He is backed up by Marlon Favorite and Drake Nevis who, in the limited paying time he has received, has been nothing but impressive.
Damage Control. I saw it as soon as it was announced that he may not play. No need in getting the guy hurt as well...I'd bet there would be a bounty on him.
