I listen to this show pretty often, and lately it's been pretty bad. Today's show had something like 22 callers from Columbus, Ohio or "C-Bus". Bill King took a cheap shot at Brady today, saying he sounded "Medicated" at the news conference. Most coaches would'nt even have bothered to attend, there was just no call to kick the man after he was fired. Also King told a Bama fan that Auburn may not be a factor anymore in the SEC West due to Saban. :rolleye33: I know rivals is run by Bama people, but that is just ridiculous. The 'lil Otter was on the show for a couple of minutes to toss around names for LSU's BB coach, which could have been an interesting segment, but just wasn't. Kinda sad really. When the show first started, it was interesting, more intelligent talk, more intelligent people called in from all over the place. Now it seems nothing more than a cheap Paul Finebaum-ish type show complete with regulars that talk smack back & forth. And for reasons unknown, other than the Bama fan, has turned into the Ohio State/Michigan show. No other real contenders can get through, or don't bother anymore. No LSU, No Florida, No USC. Today was my last time listening at least for awhile. I just don't care what Steve in C-Bus thinks or hearing Ipsy Terry brag about how Beanie Wells "Stiff-armed that LSU defender 15 yards". Just wondering if anyone else thinks the show has washed out, or what happened to it.
Listen one more time, call in and remind Ipsy Terry that the same LSU defender intercepted tOSU's poor excuse for a QB and almost took it to the house. (It was a great stiff arm though)
Yeah that was a nasty stiff arm. If they played in a NC game and a month later all they are bragging about is a stiff arm, I would actually laugh instead of get mad.
I agree. The show has been pretty bad lately. Bayou Dave is the only reason I have been listening lately.
Remind them that was out third string RB giving Jenkins pause to what eventually led to his realization that if he's not ready for LSU, he's not ready for the NFL...
