    He is the best punter I've ever seen. And that's not hyperbole. The dude just does it over, and over, and over.

    The year that Dinardo took over, he called Curley Hallman to ask about the team. he said Curley told him " go find yourself a punter". Well, Dinardo took Curleys punter anyway (Chad Kessler) and the next year he set an NCAA record as the only punter to ever average over 50 yards a season. The record still stands.

    The reason that he was able to do that was because LSU had a pooch punter specialist (Jeremy Witten) who only punted inside the 40 and dropped them out of bounds inside the 10. That allowed the primary punter to kick very long on every punt.

    In one of the games, the announcers talked about how Wing has several different punts, and can tell you before he kicks the ball, which way it will bounce when it hits the ground, even backwards.

    On another note, the rivals list shows that LSU has beaten teams with the Number 1, number 3, and number 10 running backs in the nation.
    College Football Power Rankings They are Richardson, James and Dyer respectively. Not too bad.
