Still, there are some people who are concerned about the direction the program is headed.

Is it possible that Miles is focusing on the four and five star kids too much, while there's gotta be a diamond in the rough 1 star heading right down the road to SabanFan's Alma Mater and Grill?

Well, here is a glass half empty kind of comment. I don't give the experts that much credit for having inside information. All they did was pick LA guys to stay at home. The only exception is Tolliver, who being down to FLA and us, they picked to attend LSU. If I were them I would do the same thing based on our 2 starting recievers leaving and his uncle being Harvey Williams. I don't think any of their picks required inside info. The average person on this board could have made the same predictions using common sense. Players that have championship programs in their state tend to stay at home. If we do sign McKnight, Tolliver, Jones and Blackwell I don't know if we will have room for Bryant though. With Shomari Clemons a virtual lock to resign with us that would put us at 29 schollys. I don't know if the article was written before we got a verbal from our last reciever, but I think Bryant would be the odd man out based on need if we couldn't take 29.

If it were that simple they wouldn't bother to post "Expert's" opinions.

Funny the out-of- stater is the one who's the strongest LSU lean right now and a big part of that comes from the commitment of another OOS commit- Jarrett Lee.

It is pretty much that simple. The other truism is that we often have 1 or 2 that back off their verbals and they are usually from out of state. The other reason they usually sign with someone else is competition at their position, like Robert Lane. Home state wins 80-90% of the time if you have a great program. How many recruits have we lost in recent years that we wanted out of LA --5-10%. So again you really don't have to be an "expert" to pick LSU as getting a recruit from LA. You would be an "expert" if you could consistently predict that some of these guys would leave to go somewhere else.

Noel Devine shouldnt be on there.. he is prep school all the way... only RB that LSU will take is Joe McKnight "Rider"... Dude needs the red lights across the front of his helmet...

    Final commits will be...
    Chad Jones 5* Ss
    Terrance Tolliver 5* WR
    Joe McKnight 5* Ath/RB
    Stefoin Francois 4* FS/CB
    Cameron Heyward 4* DT
    Christian Scott 4* Ath/CB

Blackwell will drag his feet too long and miss the boat...
