    i knew matulis had tommy john surgery, but i didnt realize he had transferred. and down rittiner and bourgeois to elbow surgery. not good at all.

    I was unaware of matulis also. Not good at all. So, is it safe to say ZL comes in and pitches as a freshman?

    What are we looking at in terms of the rotation?

    Bradshaw?
    Ott?
    Alsup?
    Lee?

    They have some good nominees out there for SEC play. I just worry about the prospects of the midweek games.

    at this point, i am thinking cotton or mormann for midweek. we had a couple of other young guys that really need to develop for the bull pen.

    i still say ott as closer, not starter. but what do i know.
