For those who did not have the opportunity to be blessed by sharing JayB's journey, spend some time at this site: CaringBridge / justinbarbier / Welcome Read and get to know someone I consider a hero. You will live on in my memories.
I have always said that I looked at my life as a lake...and everytime I did something meaningful or helped someone or just did something good that that 1 act would be a ripple on that lake as if someone on the shore had just thrown in a rock...and it had always been my intentions to have as many ripples in that lake as possible.... If Justin's life was that lake.....You would be able to surf in it!!!!!!! Godspeed JayB you were truely a remarkable soul and you made a difference, even if it was just a small one, in more peoples lives then you could ever imagine. Let all of earth and heaven shake...this one is for you........ GEAUX
RIP Prayers to the Barbier family. So sorry to hear of his loss and know he fought the good fight for a long time. His body had been through so much . Cherish the time he was here and know you will see him again in a place where he wont be in pain. JayB go to the light and thanks for letting us share your Love of all things LSU You will be missed.
You will be missed. Its things like this that should remind us what is important in life and to cherish every moment. It is grounding. I didnt know JayB except for his posts here. But these things remind me of the important things in life. I am reminded an LSU football game is not one of them. It enriches it. Doesnt define it.... Prayers to all effected
Justin was an absolute inspiration to me. I've never seen someone with the courage he had and the absolute will to live he displayed in 2007/early 2008. He will be sorely missed on this earth. He was a bright light during his time with us. - Joel, please give Julie and the entire Barbier family our condolences, and know that my prayers are with you all. As Stacey stated, not only was Justin a great inspiration...your sister Julie is also...for the purest form of love I've ever seen from a mortal, and the amazing strength she displayed during his struggle.
