Re: Riley and Sheppherd commit to LSU after Florida game.

There are some indications that Bani may be leaning away from LSU now and towards Penn State. The hurricane really affected him and especially his dad who was planning o moving to New Orleans. I didn't want to make a new thread because it's just speculation from the weekend. I hope he stays true to his word, he can be special here under Pelini.

Sheppard is an athlete, I don't see how he isn't a 4 star, he already has size, has more than enough speed for a player that big (plays WR for Stephenson). Is more of a complete player than Cutrera from what I've seen. He's a big time commit in my book. Don't really have anything on Riley, haven't watched video on him, but he looks to be good. Maybe they can get in Marcus Ball's ear and sway him our way.

Many of the stars from USC's 2002, 2003 and 2004 seasons were not 5 star or even 4 star players. Granted, they do have a boatload of 5 and 4 star players, but not all of them were that highly ranked. Even some of the better ones like Mike Williams were 2 stars.

I am really tired of hearing this same ole line.

It was fine when Saban was here, but that rule no longer applies.

Yeah I know, what's good for the goose is not good for the gander thought process. If Saban were to tell you a great out of the way steakhouse was great you would go ther ein a second and rave about it afterward. If Miles told you about it you would disparage it without ever actually trying the food.

I'll continue to have faith in the staff until they actually get a bunch of duds on the roster. I'd guess the fact these guys were recruited by Va Tech, Florida, Tenn, etc. proves that they are worth recruiting..

    Now come on....

I'm not going to sit here and argue about who is a better recruiter between Saban and Miles, but Miles is sitting with the fourth best recruiting class in the nation right now...
