Kyle has beat me multiple times. I think it's a combination of the fact that he's better than me and the fact that there are only so many words that you can make when every letter you get is an "a" or an "e" worth 1 point each. edit: probably more of the former than the latter.
Yeah. He is way better than me. but every now and again I wned up with a Q that I can do something with. He destroyed me in game 1, and is killing me pretty good in game 3. But just like the Little Giants, even if he beats me 99 out of 100 that leaves just 1 time.
Whoa, there! How many times have you argued against the man-made global warming crowd in here? I thought you felt that they (I'm paraphrasing) are trampling on people's rights in support of what could be called a secular utilitarian agenda?
i am better than kyle at WWF, significantly better. i had a bad streak and kyle took advantage of it. it wont happen again.
a proper utilarian agenda would not legislate silly environmental gobbledygok. global warming hysteria hurts more people than it helps. whit efirst world people dont really understand what are the most pressing issues in the world so they push an agenda that actually does not maximize utility.
yunno how moderate muslims claim suicide bombers pervert the real meaning of islam? well i am saying the same thing about secular utilitarianism. the diference is that i can back up my claims with reason-based evidence why i think global warming is not maximizing utility, without resortinng to faith-based arguments. i think it can and has been proven that to maximize human happiness/flourishing/utility there are other things besides glabwal warming for us to work out, and in fact the vailabaility of cheap energy from fossil fuel is a net gain for the world, even if it does contribute to warming.
