I believe in the rights of everyone to speak freely, but they can do so from their pulpit, their own town, or somewhere. A funeral is not a public place to hold court. I think people should start going into their church with signs protesting them.
trhe first amendment might protect them from the government but it doesn't protect them from citizens. great job at standing up for what ya'll believe in AGGIES!!!
they are not hurting anyone. and they stand for the same crap most religous people stand for. they all read the same books. and those books all say the things the westboro folks say that they do. there is no difference between the logic of belief of the westboro folks, and any normal friend of ours, kylek for instance. both have decided that they do not care abot logic and have accepted faith as a technique for information acquisition. after that it is all the same. i ddnt mean to pick on kyle he is just an example of a nice fella that is also crazy and has been infected by the virus of faith.
they shouldnt believe in sorcery, but they do. and i support their right to express their faith. we all should.
anything, good or bad, can be turned and twisted to push an agenda. the Bible, Torah, and Quaran have all been used as reasons to start wars and build homeless shelters. they have also been used to take a life as well as sacrifice ones own. If someone can believe we all came from slime and turned into a monkey then developed intoa human,y can't 1believe in ufo's and bigfoot and that a higher power created man from dirt?
they didnt hurt anyone, they didnt even show up. in fact they helped a bunch of people feel sellf-satisfied.
